It is hard to believe that 2018 is here! Our life is a vapor; thus, we need to redeem the time in wise service and faithful stewardship for our Savior. May your heart’s desire be to abide in Christ and not leave your first love this year!

We had a wonderful Fall Bible Conference at Duluth Bible Church last October. The teaching was very instructive and challenging; the fellowship was extremely edifying and enjoyable; and most of all, Jesus Christ was glorified and the Word of God was taught. While the tremendous fellowship cannot be recaptured (you missed it), you can now hear or watch all the teaching sessions online (see page 15).

Our 2018 Pastors and Teachers Conference will be October 3–4, followed by the All Believers portion on October 4–7. The Pastor’s Conference will consist of 6 General Sessions on HIGHLIGHTS FROM HEBREWS, along with 3 Break-out times of 6 options each (18 classes total). Then during the All Believers portion we will have 10 sessions of verse-by-verse teaching through the book of 2 TIMOTHY. I am so excited to be privileged to hear such Bible teachers as: Andy Woods, Jeremy Thomas, Mike Stallard, J. B. Hixson, Christopher Cone, Rich McCarrell, Mark Danielson, Bob Nyberg, Tom Stegall, Matt Costella, Brad Maston, Will Buttermore, Kurt Witzig, Peter Tranvik, Shawn laughlin, Rick Gerhartz, and Kurt Obermeyer.

Look for the details and topics of the 2018 conference in the future in the next Grace Family Journal or at our website: www.duluthbible.org

P.S. My friend, Art Rorheim, co-founder of AWANA went home to be with His Savior on January 5th (see the tribute to him on pages 21-23). Also, I recommend that you read A Voice from the Past article by William R. Newell that you probably have never read before since it comes from his long out-of-print book titled Famous Messages of William R. Newell Mostly Hitherto Unpublished (pages 16-17). Enjoy!
